Job Description

Step into a dynamic role as a School Psychologist, providing vital support to a network of schools across Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. This position offers the unique opportunity to serve as a floater, responding to various needs throughout the region and making meaningful connections with diverse students and educational professionals. Youll be at the forefront of psychological interventions, evaluations, and consultations, with your expertise sought after across multiple school districtsincluding current needs in the California Area School District and ongoing evaluations throughout the area. The nature of this contract position means adaptability and a readiness to travel are highly valued, ensuring each day brings new challenges and rewards.
Ideal candidates will possess:
An active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate Previous experience in school settings or working with children and adolescents Strong communication and organizational skills The flexibility to travel extensively within the region and adapt to shifting priorities Dedication to student-centered support and collaborative responses to school needs Your responsibilities will include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations as requested by multiple districts Implementing evidence-based interventions for individual students and groups Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student success Maintaining precise documentation and compliance with all educational standards Providing crisis intervention and supporting effective behavioral management This is a full-time opportunity, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 2027.
