Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist supporting students in a dynamic elementary school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers flexibility and professional engagement, serving an estimated 650 students. Your expertise will be focused within a K-5 elementary setting, with particular responsibility for a K-2 caseload in a shared elementary arrangement.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience in school-based psychological services preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize student needs Proficient in evaluation tools and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and communication Dedication to student well-being and team-based interventions

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and risk assessments Collaborate with educational teams and participate in MTSS meetings for effective support strategies Provide ongoing consultation regarding interventions, behavioral plans, and academic achievement Develop and maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and district protocols Foster positive relationships with students, families, and faculty to create a supportive learning environment This role operates within standard school hours from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours weekly. While it is a full-time, on-site instructional position, there is openness to hybrid scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
