Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting the growth and success of K-12 students as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a direct impact in Woodlawn, PA, providing vital services within a welcoming and collaborative school environment. You'll work a consistent 40-hour week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, now through June 2, 2027, with a competitive pay range between $55.33 and $62.75 per hour. As part of your responsibilities, you'll work closely with a caseload that includes approximately 45 Special Education students and 5 students with 504 plans. Your role will focus on evaluating, supporting, and uplifting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being across all grade levels.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting weekly student groups and delivering individualized support. Completing annual IEP evaluations and 504 evaluations. Completing initial Special Education evaluations and reevaluations (RRs). Collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Participating in IEP and student support meetings. Maintaining thorough, timely documentation and records. Providing psychological and educational guidance to foster student success.
Ideal Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or credentials. Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred. Background in Special Education and 504 evaluations is a plus. Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities. Passion for supporting the holistic development of students.
