Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting 5th and 6th grade students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community near Pottstown, PA. This on-site, contract position is full-time, Monday through Friday (8:15 AM-3:50 PM), running through June 4, 2027. Enjoy a manageable caseload with an average of 10 evaluations per month, allowing you to provide meaningful and individualized support while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary school-based team. Competitive hourly compensation ranges from $55.44 to $65.78. Qualifications & Experience Active School Psychologist certification in Pennsylvania required Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments Previous experience with elementary/middle-grade students preferred Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and SAP (Student Assistance Program) processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to produce timely, thorough reports and maintain organized documentation Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments Core Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and disability determinations Prepare detailed evaluation reports and share findings with staff and families Serve as a consultant for teachers on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Actively participate in MTSS and SAP meetings as a valued team contributor Collaborate with administrators, educators, and special education partners Develop recommendations and implement strategies driven by evaluation results Ensure compliance with state and school documentation practices Promote a positive, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for all students Become a crucial advocate for student growth and contribute to a collaborative, innovative school culture.
