Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting multiple school communities as a credentialed school psychologist. This dynamic, full-time role requires a high level of adaptability, as you will serve as a floater across several locations in Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. Your expertise will be put to use evaluating students, collaborating with educational teams, and providing crucial psychological support where it's needed most. Stretch your skills by working onsite within various districts, with immediate needs focused in the California Area School District and ongoing evaluation responsibilities spanning the region. Each day offers new challenges and the chance to positively impact students across different settings.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate (required) Experience working in multiple school environments or with diverse student populations preferred Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Willingness to travel regularly between assignments within the region Proficiency in conducting student assessments and writing evaluation reports Strong collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Travel between schools to provide evaluation and consultation services Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams Support the development of IEPs and behavioral intervention plans Offer counseling and evidence-based interventions for students as needed Maintain professional documentation in compliance with state and district standards Respond efficiently to requests from various districts within the Intermediate Unit Experience flexibility, variety, and meaningful impact as you help meet the psychological and educational needs of students across multiple communities.
