Qualifications:
Masters degree in School Psychology required State certification as a School Psychologist mandatory At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern, or equivalent education/training Proficient in psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Adept at preparing clear, concise assessment and progress reports Basic statistical and data analysis competencies
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret findings Provide individual and group counseling services to students Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and external professionals to facilitate student success Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to the development of IEPs, and recommend strategies for academic and behavioral growth Offer crisis intervention and coordinate crisis management programs Stay current with professional developments and relevant legislation Use technology to maintain records, prepare reports, and score assessments Engage in ongoing communication with all relevant parties to support student needs This is a rewarding chance to make a tangible impact on students mental health and academic journeys while developing professionally in a supportive school culture.
