This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated School Psychologists to provide comprehensive services in an engaging onsite contract role for the upcoming school year, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 to May 2027. In this key position, you'll help shape the academic, social, and emotional growth of students through psychoeducational evaluations, direct mental health services, crisis intervention, and collaborative consultation with school staff and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in school psychology, plus two years as a school psychologist intern or equivalent education/experience. Current state certification as a School Psychologist. Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological, behavior, and achievement assessments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing professional reports and presenting findings confidently. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, parents, and community agencies. Physical capacity to operate standard office equipment and occasionally lift up to ten pounds.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine special education eligibility, utilizing a variety of assessment tools. Deliver individual and group mental health counseling for students. Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and outside professionals to support student learning and well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary placement/IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and document findings. Coordinate and deliver crisis intervention and management services as needed. Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation, including Medicaid reimbursement forms. Stay informed about developments and best practices in school psychology.
