Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing critical behavioral and mental health services in a vibrant school community near Okatie, SC. This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated School Psychologist with a solid foundation in both counseling and behavioral intervention. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students facing significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, guiding them toward successful academic and personal outcomes. In this dynamic setting, you will: Offer individual and small-group counseling focused on trauma-informed care Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to support student growth Assist in creating and monitoring effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Consult collaboratively with teachers and families to address student needs Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings to develop and monitor student goals Contribute to crisis response plans and safety protocols as needed Develop proactive transition plans to help students successfully reintegrate into their home schools You'll thrive in this role if you bring: Certification or credentialing as a School Psychologist Experience in behavioral and counseling services within a school setting Expertise in trauma-informed practices and evidence-based interventions Strong communication and consultation skills with educators and families Familiarity with FBAs, BIPs, and MTSS frameworks Commitment to collaborative problem-solving and data-driven decision making Ready to apply your skills where they matter most?
