9559470-37022 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school psychologist in a full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year. This role serves a diverse K-12 caseload across multiple campuses within the county and operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to promote students academic and emotional growth Provide direct and indirect counseling to students, focusing on crisis intervention, social-emotional development, and behavior management Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing expert input on student evaluations and recommended interventions Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions across general and special education settings Deliver professional development and consultation to teachers and staff on best practices in mental health, behavior strategies, and accommodations Manage and maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist, meeting state Department of Education requirements Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field Experience with K-12 student populations preferred; new graduates with strong practicum/internship backgrounds are encouraged to apply Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Effective communicator with ability to partner with team members, students, and families Organized, flexible, and adept at managing a county-wide caseload As part of this contract opportunity, youll enjoy the professional rewards of supporting students and collaborating with dedicated education professionals throughout the school district.
