The School Psychologist position is a direct impact position at Project Play Therapy whose focus is to facilitate quality service delivery for our school partners and families. As a School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral landscape for students, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. The ideal candidate for the position would be willing to collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver psycho-educational services and offer expert guidance to support our school partners in addressing the diverse needs of their students. Empower Your Skills Take a lead role in the problem solving process for individual student needs through psycho-educational evaluation, consultation, and team collaboration meetings Work closely with school-based teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while providing holistic student supports centered around data-based decision-making Consult with school teams relative to student educational and social-emotional concerns, data analysis, MTSS and Response to Intervention (to include TN state guidelines), and support systems/structures Engage and partner with school staff, family members, and community partners to seek collaborative solutions to support students impacted by trauma Embrace the Perks Salaried and full/part-time hourly positions Flexibility with off-site work (ask about hybrid and virtual options, too!)
