Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real difference supporting students' academic and emotional success in a vibrant school setting! This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is tailored for skilled, compassionate School Psychologists passionate about collaborative work and student advocacy. You'll engage directly with students and staff, conducting assessments, counseling, and contributing to a positive, inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results Solid understanding of special education law and procedures Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving abilities and sound professional judgment Experience in a high school setting is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to help address students' academic and behavioral needs Support prevention and intervention strategies targeting mental health, learning, and adjustment challenges Deliver staff and parent training on relevant mental health topics Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all legal and ethical standards
