Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. Your expertise will help design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans that promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and behavioral psychological evaluations to identify individual needs and develop tailored intervention strategies Implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and analyze data meticulously during sessions to track progress, inform treatment adjustments, and ensure treatment fidelity Perform functional behavior assessments (FBA) and functional assessments to understand the purpose of behaviors and guide effective interventions Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards in behavioral health Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and privacy Conduct diagnostic evaluations and support intake processes for new clients seeking behavioral health services Support autism spectrum disorders (ASD) clients through specialized ABA therapy tailored to neurodevelopmental disorders Engage in ongoing professional development related to behavioral health, medical terminology, school experience, and home-based behavioral interventions Skills Extensive experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior intervention strategies Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA), diagnostic evaluations, and clinical supervision of staff Ability to communicate effectively with clients' families, educational teams, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings Knowledge of behavioral psychological assessments and functional assessment procedures Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals with developmental disabilities across diverse settings Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering children with disabilities through innovative behavioral health solutions.
