School Psychologist - Mckinney, Texas

Job Description

A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced School Psychologist who values making a meaningful impact in educational settings. This full-time, onsite contract position offers a chance to serve diverse elementary and high school students by providing psychological evaluation and consultation across several campuses within a supportive school district near Mckinney, TX. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families, ensuring students receive the assistance and interventions they need for success.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Texas School Psychologist License Demonstrated recent experience in school-based psychological services Proven ability to conduct and manage Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) Experience supporting multiple campuses or managing varied school-based caseloads Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Dependable transportation for travel between assigned campuses (34 in total) Comfortable with an onsite role (remote work unavailable)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for elementary and high school caseloads Serve as case manager for FIEs from referral to ARD meeting presentation Participate in critical SST and ARD meetings to review findings and support team decision-making Secure informed consent, maintain meticulous compliance documentation, and uphold state and district timelines Build effective relationships with teachers, families, administrators, and special education teams to promote student success Flexibly travel between multiple campuses as assigned
