School Psychologist in Weatherford, TX

Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students growth and well-being as a school psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Weatherford, TX. This position is itinerant between five campusesprimarily elementary, with some middle school assignmentallowing for varied daily experiences and a deeper connection with students and staff across locations.
Key Qualifications:
Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or valid Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologist Experience conducting evaluations and providing services in areas such as Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD Familiarity with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Prior experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred Ability to navigate credentialing, including timely completion or verification of fingerprints through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) (please note processing can take up to 10 business days)
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and ongoing support services for students across assigned campuses Provide direct intervention services and consultation for students, staff, and families Collaborate with educators and school teams to create and implement effective intervention plans Travel between assigned campuses as needed, maintaining regular communication and case management for a diverse caseload This is an on-site-only role, ensuring youll build meaningful relationships and directly impact the school community.
