This is an employment position with an option for employment with benefits. We are excited to take a psychometrician under our wing and provide excellent support and supervision! We look for opportunities to train and increase effectiveness in delivering these important mental health services. While we hope for the right person to stay in this role for at least 3 years, we can also be comfortable with a 1-2 year role if the fit is excellent.

Spanish-speaking is preferred, but all are welcome to apply

Travel:

Travel to at least 2 of our 3 offices is imperative. Candidates who can travel to all three offices (Provo, Murray, Ogden) are preferred.

Job responsibilities:

Administer standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. Domains of interest include, but are not limited to, intelligence, academic achievement, attention, executive functioning, memory, social functioning, and motor skills. Follow standardized administration procedures to ensure accurate, reliable, and valid assessment results. Establish excellent rapport with clients and maintain a professional, supportive testing environment. Score assessments accurately using manual and computerized scoring systems. Document behavioral observations during testing, including attention, effort, motivation, cooperation, and other factors potentially affecting performance. Maintain the security and confidentiality of psychological testing materials, client information, and assessment results. Coordinate with psychologists and administrative staff regarding testing schedules, assessment needs, and completion of assigned evaluations. Maintain familiarity with assessment instruments, administration procedures, and updated testing guidelines. Complete testing documentation accurately and within established timelines.

Compensation:

Listed compensation ($28

•36 per hour) is used as a descriptive estimate. Actual earning rate depends on efficiency (a flat rate per test model is implemented) and could be lower or higher than this range. Additional hours, beyond administration/scoring hours, are avialable for training on new tests and this is paid at $32 per hour.
