ASAP Annual Salary:
$450,000 Bonus Opportunity Receive a one-time $20,000 placement bonus after successfully completing 3 months of employment . Responsibilities Evaluate new and returning patients by reviewing medical records, imaging, and clinical history. Develop individualized treatment plans using national treatment guidelines and current medical evidence. Treat a wide range of malignancies, including: Breast Genitourinary Head & Neck Central Nervous System Gynecologic Thoracic Gastrointestinal Hematologic cancers Treat selected benign conditions, including: Keloids Heterotopic ossification Acoustic schwannomas Trigeminal neuralgia Graves ophthalmopathy Perform and supervise radiation therapy procedures, including: Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT/SABR) Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) Fractionated Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (FSRT) Total Body Irradiation (TBI)
IMRT, VMAT, 3D
Conformal Therapy, Electron Therapy Deep Inspiratory Breath Hold (DIBH) 4D CT Simulation Perform nasopharyngoscopy. Obtain informed consent and oversee patient simulations and treatment planning. Review dosimetry, imaging, and treatment plans within required timelines. Conduct daily image guidance reviews using
CBCT, MV
portal imaging, and kV imaging. Participate in tumor boards, chart rounds, quality assurance activities, and multidisciplinary conferences. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in resident and medical student education as assigned. Support quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Required Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology Residency Experience Minimum 24 months of Radiation Oncology experience within the past 3 years Board Certification Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Licensure Active Mississippi medical license Skills & Expertise Radiation Oncology
