Compensation Pay Range:

00+ Per Hr Description The Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic X-ray images for orthopedic procedures. This Part Time or Per Diem position is based in Newtown, CT, and requires working weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role demands expertise in handling radiology technologies and ensuring patient safety while delivering high-quality imaging services. Requirements Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and conducting diagnostic procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for accurate radiographic imaging. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff. Skill in safely positioning patients for optimal imaging results. Competence in troubleshooting equipment issues and making necessary adjustments. Capability to adhere to written guidelines and standardized work practices. Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues. Qualifications Completion of a Radiologic Technology course approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification with the ARRT. Current License with the ARRT. Current License by the State of Connecticut. At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred. Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
