Per Diem Radiology Technologist Mississippi Valley Surgery Center - 4.3 Davenport, IA Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Mississippi Valley Surgery Center is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to provide imaging services in our ambulatory surgery setting. This position is scheduled as needed, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts . You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other team members to support safe and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform intraoperative fluoroscopy and diagnostic radiography, including chest radiography, as assigned. Set up, position, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment. Verify patient information and imaging requests before examinations, and communicate discrepancies or safety concerns. Obtain and evaluate quality images while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure. Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff, and yourself. Position imaging equipment safely in the operating room while protecting the sterile field. Complete imaging documentation and manage images and results according to facility procedures. Qualifications Current Radiologic Technologist license or certification applicable to the position. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy in an operating room or procedural setting preferred. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing procedural needs, and communicate effectively with the care team. #hc41784
