Description Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR Advanced Modality Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital - Main Floor Plaza West Tower- General Radiology (St. Louis, MO) $5,000 Sign on Bonus Eligible!!!
Position Details:
Day Shift:
4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (7:30am-6pm) No CALL or Weekends!!!
Extra Holiday Pay :
Earn top dollar when you work on your 3 required holidays each year - 1 major (Thanksgiving or Christmas) & 2 minor (all other holidays) 1yr of Operating Room (C-arm) experience (highly preferred) Operate C-Arms and O-Arms in the operating room Use portable x-ray machines to obtain films for intraops or closures in the operating room Occasionally use Radlink in the operating room & assist in providing coverage to Portable x-ray team and/or ED x-ray team when needed Warm & welcoming team of technologists!!!
Advanced Modality Technologists Pay Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in related field Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
Experience:
C-Arm, Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and/or OR experience (preferred) If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, , Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, Special Procedures Technologist, Interventional Procedures Technologist, IR Tech, Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI), Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) / Radiologic / Radiology Technologist - Interventional Radiology , Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Radiology Technician, Imaging Technologist, and CAT Scan Technologist, Computerized Axial Tomography, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X-Ray Tech)

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
