Radiology Technologist - Sign-on Bonus

Job Description

Radiology Technologist responsible for performing X-ray and CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and safety standards. Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout imaging procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Properly position patients and follow radiation safety procedures. Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and imaging standards. Support weekend and variable-hour coverage based on department needs.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent. Valid state licensure as an X-Ray/CT Technologist. CT certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 2 years experience as an X-Ray/CT Technologist. Previous hospital-based imaging experience required. Experience performing both X-ray and CT procedures. Ability to perform approximately 20 CT scans per day, especially during weekend shifts. Ability to work three 12-hour shifts, including weekends. Strong technical skills with imaging equipment. Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
