Job Description

Header Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will have the exciting opportunity to cross-train into Computed Tomography (CT) imaging. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiologic equipment, ensuring high-quality images that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Header Duties Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine imaging with precision and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Cross-train into CT imaging, acquiring skills to operate CT scanners for diagnostic evaluations of various anatomical regions. Assist in interventional radiology procedures and interventional radiography, supporting minimally invasive treatments and diagnostic interventions. Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety procedures and implement best practices for patient and staff safety during all imaging processes. Provide exceptional patient care by preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes clearly, and maintaining comfort throughout imaging sessions. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient information following hospital policies and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care, emergency room settings, and Level I trauma centers to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services. Header Skills Proficiency in radiologic imaging equipment operation including X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, nuclear medicine, and CT scanners. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles to accurately interpret imaging needs. Experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or Level I trauma centers with Level II trauma center experience preferred. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff effectively. Ability to perform advanced imaging techniques such as interventional radiography and interventional radiology procedures. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on aseptic technique and compassionate communication during stressful situations. Knowledge of medical equipment operation including fluoroscopy units and nuclear medicine devices; ability to troubleshoot technical issues swiftly. Pay:
$35.33 - $42.55 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
