Job Description

Job Summary Job Type:
As Needed Join our team as an X-ray Technician where you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As an X-ray Technician, you will operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment. Duties
  • Perform imaging on patients for diagnostic purposes as directed by healthcare provider for procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to position patients correctly to obtain the best images
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards and protocols
  • Review imaging results to ensure clarity and quality of images, and identify any abnormalities that may require additional images or different procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of X-ray images
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission during imaging procedures
Qualifications Required Skills:
  • Associate degree or certification in Radiologic Technology from and accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Prior experience working as a Radiology Technician, especially in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Pain Management
