3004145233-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Lucid Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography to support healthcare partners nationwide. In this role, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy while adhering to ALARA and regulatory standards. You'll operate digital imaging equipment, verify orders, document exams in PACS/RIS, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams. This traveling position offers exposure to diverse clinical settings, the opportunity to impact patient outcomes, and strong support from a collaborative, candidate-focused staffing team. Responsibilities Perform high-quality digital mammography exams following established protocols and safety standards Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and dignity Operate and maintain radiologic and mammography equipment, troubleshooting basic issues Verify patient identity, review orders, and ensure accurate documentation in
PACS/RIS
systems Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety regulations at all times Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate, timely diagnoses Travel to assigned healthcare facilities, adapting to various clinical workflows Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies Required Skills Digital mammography Radiologic imaging techniques Patient positioning for breast imaging Radiation safety and ALARA principles
