Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a critical role supporting advanced patient diagnostics as an MRI Technologist. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services while collaborating with a skilled medical team. Your expertise in MRI technology will enhance patient care and ensure precise diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to obtain clear, accurate images as requested by physicians Position patients safely and comfortably, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to ensure a positive experience Monitor imaging processes and adjust protocols to guarantee optimal image quality Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including infection control and radiation protection policies Utilize electronic medical record systems to record patient information and results Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinical staff for accurate communication regarding imaging findings Prepare equipment, supplies, and facilities for each patient, following proper sanitization procedures Stay current with advancements in MRI techniques and maintain all necessary credentials
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized credentials in MRI (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Proven experience as an MRI Tech in a medical or hospital setting Knowledge of imaging protocols, safety standards, and best practices for MRI environments Superior attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and fellow healthcare professionals Capability to work both independently and within a team dynamic This contract position is ideal for a motivated MRI technologist eager to broaden their experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
