Qualifications:
Current certification in CT Imaging (ARRT, CT registered or equivalent). Active state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility to obtain). Minimum of one year of recent CT imaging experience in a clinical setting. Proficiency in operating CT equipment and executing advanced scanning techniques. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to comfort patients and collaborate effectively with medical staff. BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician requests and established protocols. Accurately assess, position, and prepare patients for imaging procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with regulatory standards. Communicate results to radiologists and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives. Maintain equipment, reporting malfunctions or needs for servicing as appropriate.
