Full Job Description Mammography Technologist Waldwick, NJ Schedule Monday-Friday:

8:00 AM-5:00

PM Lunch:

1-hour unpaid lunch

Saturday:

Approximately 1 Saturday per month , either 8:00 AM-12:00 PM or 8:00 AM-2:00 PM No regular on-call requirement Overtime available Position Overview A well-established, fast-paced outpatient medical imaging facility in Waldwick, NJ is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join its Mammography department. This is a multimodality position, with responsibilities including screening and diagnostic mammography , as well as rotation through general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density services. The ideal candidate will have strong mammography and X-ray experience, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations. Provide coverage/rotation for general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density . Work collaboratively across three mammography rooms in a busy outpatient practice. Maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and provide a professional, compassionate experience. Maintain composure and a pleasant personality in a fast-paced environment. Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and imaging protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and staff. Required Qualifications Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program. 1-2 years of experience in both Mammography and X-ray preferred/required based on the posted requirements. Must be in good standing with ARRT - Radiography and Mammography . NJDEP license required. 3D Tomography certification required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Stereotactic/biopsy experience strongly preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented outpatient environment.
