Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X Ray Techinician/ Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within various medical settings, including, hospital medicine, urgent care, and internal medicine. This role is vital in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in medical assisting procedures, electronic health records management, and patient service delivery, contributing to a seamless healthcare experience for our patients. Duties X-Ray's and assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures Perform phlebotomy and medication administration as directed by physicians or protocols Document medical information accurately, including ICD coding, medical terminology, and procedural details Support medical office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling correspondence Conduct basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary and respond effectively to emergency situations Maintain knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assist with patient assessments and treatment plans Support inpatient or outpatient care in hospital or clinic environments, including emergency medicine or Level I Trauma Center settings Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols while delivering compassionate patient service Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, surgical patients, or those in internal medicine Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in, urgent care, hospital medicine, or related specialties Strong knowledge of medical assisting techniques, pharmacology, and medical terminology Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management Competence in phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and basic life support (BLS) Familiarity with ICD coding, medical documentation standards, and medical records management, Certification to do X-Ray is a PLUS. Inpatient experience or clinic experience preferred; OR or Level I Trauma Center experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or hospital settings Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant to make a meaningful difference in patient care through your clinical expertise and dedication. Pay:
$18.50 - $22.00 per hour
