Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing activities for senior residents in an assisted living facility
• Provide support and companionship to residents during activities
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being
• Coordinate and facilitate group activities, such as games, crafts, and outings
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and engaging environment for residents
• Maintain documentation of resident participation and behavior during activities

Requirements:

• Experience or knowledge in senior care, assisted living, dementia care, or memory care is preferred
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
• Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities and events
• Certification Preferred
