Full-Time (80 hours per pay period)

Shift Available:

Day Shift (some evenings and weekends for special events)

Pay:

$55,000

Your Role as Director of Life Enrichment As the Director of Life Enrichment, you will lead and oversee meaningful engagement programs for residents throughout our campus. You will inspire residents, families, staff, and volunteers by creating opportunities that support social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive well-being. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about enhancing quality of life and building innovative programs that help residents stay active, connected, and engaged. Key Responsibilities Resident Engagement & Programming Develop and oversee a comprehensive life enrichment program across the campus Plan, coordinate, and evaluate meaningful activities and events Create programming that promotes social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, and physical wellness Develop person-centered programming for residents living with dementia and memory loss Support resident choice, independence, and quality of life Events & Community Connections Coordinate special events, celebrations, outings, and intergenerational programs Build relationships with community groups, schools, churches, and volunteers Promote resident participation and community engagement Assist with marketing and communication of resident events and activities Leadership & Collaboration Lead, coach, and support life enrichment staff and volunteers Collaborate with nursing, social services, dietary, therapy, and other departments Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate Assist with departmental budgeting, purchasing, and program planning Compliance & Documentation Maintain documentation consistent with state and federal requirements Ensure activity programming meets regulatory standards and resident needs Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and resident satisfaction What You Bring Required Experience working with seniors, including individuals with dementia and memory care needs Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to develop and implement creative, engaging programming Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Preferred Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Activity Director Certified (ADC) credential Occupational Therapy background Degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field Experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or senior living leadership Skills & Competencies Creativity and enthusiasm Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience planning events and managing multiple priorities Compassionate, resident-centered approach Ability to foster meaningful engagement and community connections Ready to Make a Difference?
