Every Other Weekend (EOW) Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in a correctional healthcare facility in Clayton, Alabama. This evening shift position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured and secure environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and perform patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status. Provide emergency nursing care when needed. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide patient education and health counseling. Follow healthcare, safety, infection control, and correctional facility procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree, Diploma, or higher in Nursing. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS (Basic Life support) from AHA is required before joining. Minimum 1 year of Correctional/Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience is highly desired. Strong assessment, medication administration, and emergency response skills. Candidates residing beyond 50 miles from the assignment location are encouraged to apply.
