More about our team We know good health includes good mental health. Depending on circumstances and the severity of symptoms, individuals may benefit from professional behavioral health treatment. Our team of experienced and compassionate psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, nurses and support staff works with adults ages 18-64 through a multi-disciplinary approach to care. The path to better mental wellness begins here. How you'll contribute A Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role:
  • Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
What we are looking for:
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Experience:
One year previous experience preferred
Licenses:
Active Arkansas or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
Education:
Associate's Degree required. BSN preferred.
