Our premier cardiovascular practice is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our expanding team. This dynamic position bridges comprehensive outpatient management at our local clinics with inpatient hospital rounding, consults, and care transitions. Working alongside our dedicated team you will drive evidence-based protocols, promote exceptional patient satisfaction, and foster a collaborative, positive environment.

Clinical Care:

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular histories and physical exams in both clinic and acute hospital settings.

Patient Rounds:

Perform inpatient rounding, manage floor consults, formulate clinical treatment paths, and streamline safe patient discharge.

Care Coordination:

Manage chronic conditions (heart failure, CAD, arrhythmias, hypertension, and vascular disease) through autonomous medication titration and specialized counseling.

Team Leadership:

Lead by example within the care team, mentoring junior clinical staff and enforcing proactive documentation accuracy.

Patient Continuity:

Deliver clear, compassionate disease-management counseling, preventive health coaching, and coordinate post-discharge clinic follow-ups.

Nurse Pracitioner Highlights & Schedule Flexibility Compensation:

Choice between a structured, competitive base salary or an hourly pay scale option.

Hours:

Flexible formatting available (e.g., standard Monday-Friday shift structures or modified block rounding hours depending on coverage needs).

Coverage Mix:

Split time split between dedicated clinic days and acute hospital rounding.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements & Qualifications Education:

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.

Licensure:

Active, unencumbered license to practice as an APRN in the state of Florida .

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of direct advanced practice experience in cardiovascular medicine (clinic or inpatient) is required.

Certifications:

Valid National Board Certification (AG-ACNP, FNP, or Adult-Gerontology) along with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS credentials.

Skills:

Exceptional EKG interpretation capability, strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and a highly collaborative, communicative professional style.
