Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Our premier cardiovascular practice is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our expanding team. This dynamic position bridges comprehensive outpatient management at our local clinics with inpatient hospital rounding, consults, and care transitions. Working alongside our dedicated team you will drive evidence-based protocols, promote exceptional patient satisfaction, and foster a collaborative, positive environment.
Clinical Care:
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular histories and physical exams in both clinic and acute hospital settings.
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered license to practice as an APRN in the state of Florida .
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of direct advanced practice experience in cardiovascular medicine (clinic or inpatient) is required.
Certifications:
Valid National Board Certification (AG-ACNP, FNP, or Adult-Gerontology) along with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS credentials.
Skills:
Exceptional EKG interpretation capability, strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and a highly collaborative, communicative professional style.
