Registered Nurse and provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients. You will assess and monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, manage airways, pain, and vital signs, administer IV medications, and respond rapidly to changes in condition. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered recovery and smooth handoffs. Responsibilities Provide direct post-anesthesia care to PACU patients Continuously assess and monitor patient status and vital signs Manage airways, pain control, and hemodynamic stability Administer IV medications and treatments per orders Recognize and respond to emergencies and complications Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care team Educate patients and families on post-op care and instructions Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately Follow infection prevention, safety, and PACU protocols Support quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Required Skills Post-anesthesia patient assessment Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring Airway management IV medication administration Pain management protocols Use of PACU monitoring equipment Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Recovery room protocols and standards Emergency response and resuscitation skills Infection prevention and control
