Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health environments. Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients, ensuring all medical needs are met with precision and compassion Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and evaluate patient responses to treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Assist with diagnostic procedures such as laboratory specimen collection, radiology imaging (including CT scans), and catheterizations while maintaining sterile processing standards Educate children and their families on health management strategies, medication administration, nutrition, and developmental milestones to promote wellness at home and in the community Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams utilizing EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care Respond swiftly to emergencies such as acute pain episodes or neonatal resuscitation procedures within hospital or outpatient settings Skills Valid Pediatric Registered Nurse license with current state certification Extensive experience working with children across diverse healthcare environments including NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), emergency room, or outpatient clinics Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD-10 coding and medical documentation standards Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, suturing, ventilator management, tube feeding, and aseptic technique Knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and acute care procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs populations such as those requiring memory care or behavioral health support Ability to perform patient assessment accurately while demonstrating excellent communication skills for triage and family coaching Knowledge of infection control practices and emergency response procedures specific to pediatric settings Join us in delivering energetic, explicit care that transforms young lives!
