Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state Previous experience in a school nursing role is required Strong assessment and care planning skills, especially for students with seizure disorders Comfortable working with a single student in close coordination for health management Exceptional communication and consultative abilities for collaboration with students, families, and staff Ability to visit onsite two days per week, six hours each day

Role Responsibilities:

Consult onsite to develop and review medical plans for students with healthcare requirements, with particular attention to those with seizure conditions Participate in virtual school settings to coordinate health services and ensure student safety Provide education and training to staff regarding individual medical needs and emergency response protocols Serve as a health resource to the school team and families, offering guidance on managing chronic conditions and medication administration Monitor and document student progress and adjust care plans as necessary
