Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead engaging daily activities for residents. Coordinate holiday celebrations, entertainment, special events, and community outings. Encourage resident participation while promoting socialization and emotional well-being. Complete activity calendars, assessments, and required documentation. Collaborate with other departments to provide meaningful resident-centered programming. Maintain activity supplies and ensure programs meet state and federal regulations. Qualifications 36-Hour Basic Activity Director Orientation Course preferred (training assistance available if needed) Previous experience in long-term care or senior activities is preferred but not required. Creative, organized, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. Compassionate attitude and a genuine passion for improving residents' quality of life. Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
