Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident nursing care using clinical best practices Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Monitor resident status, document changes, and communicate promptly with physicians and families Develop, update, and carry out individualized, person-centered care plans Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to CNAs and other support staff Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and electronic health records Promote resident safety, infection control, and compliance with regulatory standards Participate in care conferences and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team Educate residents and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care where appropriate Support Signature Health CARE's mission, values, and faith-based, resident-centered culture Required Skills Patient assessment Care planning and care coordination Medication administration and pharmacology Wound care management IV therapy and venipuncture Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Infection prevention and control Clinical prioritization and triage Supervision and delegation of nursing assistants Geriatric and long-term care nursing
