Pay Rate:

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Acts as a resource to staff from various units. Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit and Acute Rehab. Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.

Requirements:

RN license in state of assignment. BLS (American Heart Association) required. Ability to float to multiple units. Ability to manage care for both acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
