VHS What You'll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room, covering surgeries, C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy. Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success. Adhere to hospital policies and maintain sterile techniques. Respond to emergency calls, arriving within 30 minutes when on call. Support patients and staff in a multi-disciplinary rural hospital setting. Follow unit protocols and assist with relief staffing as needed.

What You Need:

Active Louisiana RN license ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications At least 1 year of recent hospital RN experience Epic experience required Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule and respond to on-call requirements About the

Assignment:

This assignment is at a small rural hospital where your nursing skills will directly impact patient outcomes across various surgical specialties. The unit is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for OR surgery, C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy. The first week includes buddy call shifts to help integrate into the team.
