Qualifications:

Active Maine LPN or RN License required Previous school nursing experience (RN or LPN/LVN) preferred Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

Offer direct care and health support to the designated high school student, adapting services as needs change Administer medication, monitor health status, and manage chronic conditions according to physician orders and school protocols Maintain accurate, confidential student health records Consult with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student safety and success Educate and advocate for the students health needs, supporting participation in daily school activities
