1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Charge RN for a Behavioral Health Unit on nights, requiring a ME or compact RN license and 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience. Details Behavioral Health Unit within a hospital setting Charge RN responsibilities for night shift 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week Uses Epic EMR Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed Requirements Active ME or compact RN license required upon consideration BLS and other AHA certifications must be completed before start date Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Psychiatric nursing experience required Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references required Additional Information Serve as Charge RN overseeing the Behavioral Health Unit during night shifts Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at consideration
