Qualifications:

Valid and unrestricted RN license Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing status Implement physician orders, administer medication, and coordinate all aspects of direct patient care Develop and update individualized care plans in partnership with patients and their families Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance strategies Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff for holistic patient care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record system Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition Uphold established standards of care, policy compliance, and safety protocols
