Contract Registered Nurse

• Ionia, MI Care One seeks a dedicated RN for full-time positions serving incarcerated individuals in a Ionia, MI correctional facility. Handlon Correctional Facility 10:00am
• 10:30pm, 2 day shifts (6:00am
• 2:30pm) Rotating weekends and holidays

PTO Weekly Pay Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assess patients' healthcare needs through routine evaluations and develop individualized nursing care plans accordingly. Conduct health screenings for patients or clients. Respond to emergency healthcare situations as needed. Collect and document data related to patients' health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners, and educate patients on treatment methods. Offer health education and instruction on promoting health and managing illnesses, diseases, injuries, or disabilities. Responsibilities may vary based on departmental assignments. Registered Nurse Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan

• Required. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• Required. Two years of Nursing experience
• Required Medication Administration
• Required EMR/EHR experience
• Required Ability to relate to and treat diverse patient needs.

Strong skills in patient assessment, management, and documentation. Experience with venipuncture and intravenous therapy. Ability to work in correctional facilities regardless of patient demographics. Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration. Integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential matters. Adaptability to changing organizational needs.
