Overview $42.00 to $47.00 Every Weekend or Every Other Weekend Maple Lawn Nursing Home is looking for a nurse supervisor to work 7A- 3P/16-24 hours per week. This would be an on the floor position that oversees the nursing department. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards. Assist with procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and emergency interventions as needed. Provide care in various specialties including critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and more. Qualifications Current RN license in the state of Missouri. Experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities is preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, we use matrix care. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Skills in IV infusion, phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support are essential. Experience working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions is a plus. Previous experience in specialized areas such as trauma medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient services is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
