$10,000 Bonus!! Rates are now negotiable! Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a passion for patient-centered care, and a comprehensive understanding of diverse medical settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating patient treatments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. This role offers an opportunity to work across various specialties, including critical care, outpatient services, long-term care, and more, contributing to improved patient outcomes through compassionate and proficient nursing practices. Duties Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following proper aseptic techniques while maintaining detailed medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth. Perform specialized procedures including IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and ventilator care in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients in acute care environments such as ICU or trauma centers, managing airway management, critical & intensive care procedures, and trauma medicine protocols. Coordinate discharge planning and case management activities to ensure seamless transitions of care within hospital or community settings. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as cardiology, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and hospice & palliative medicine to deliver holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on health coaching strategies, medication administration, pain management techniques, and disease prevention measures. Experience Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU or trauma centers (Level I & II Trauma Center experience preferred). Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and patient record management. Extensive clinical background in areas such as critical care transport, infectious disease care, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), dialysis support, or outpatient clinics. Strong familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures and treatments. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities in settings like assisted living or long-term care facilities is highly valued. Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing protocols to ensure patient safety during invasive procedures such as spinal taps or sonography. Prior experience managing complex cases involving pain management, post-operative discharge planning, or hospice & palliative medicine is advantageous. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required to ensure preparedness for emergency response situations.
