Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Corrections position. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a secure correctional setting. Candidates must have a current RN license, active BLS certification, and strong clinical judgment and nursing skills.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and nursing standards.
