Duties Administer ketamine infusions following established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiological evaluations prior to treatment Monitor patients closely during infusion sessions, observing for adverse reactions or complications and responding promptly with appropriate interventions Educate patients about the infusion process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care instructions to promote understanding and compliance Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Osmind and Athena net, adhering to HIPAA regulations Collaborate with physicians, mental health specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs Ensure aseptic technique and infection control standards are rigorously followed during all procedures and patient interactions Experience Valid RN license with current state registration and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Prior experience administering IV infusions, including IV insertion and catheter care, is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, pharmacology related to anesthetics or sedation, and patient assessment techniques Experience working in outpatient settings, pain management clinics, or mental health facilities is advantageous Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Osmind and Athena net for accurate documentation and record keeping Strong understanding of aseptic technique, infection control practices, and medication administration protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively while providing compassionate care

Schedule:

Weekday shifts required Possible weekend availability Shifts typically range from 4-8 hours , depending on patient flow Approximately 12-24 hours per week , with opportunity for additional hours
