Responsibilities Provide direct stepdown/progressive care to high-acuity adult patients Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs Administer and titrate IV medications and therapies per protocols Perform comprehensive assessments and update care plans Document all care accurately in the EMREducate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition promptly Adhere to infection control and safety standards Float within scope to similar units as needed Required Skills Stepdown/progressive care nursing Telemetry monitoring IV medication administration Care planning and coordination Wound care Electronic Health Records (EHR) Patient and family education Clinical documentation Critical thinking and triage Interdisciplinary collaboration
