Responsibilities Provide compassionate oncology nursing care to adult patients across various care settings Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications per provider orders and protocols Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage oncologic emergencies within scope Perform comprehensive assessments, symptom management, and patient education Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Maintain accurate electronic health records and follow all safety and infection-control standards Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and home care instructions Adhere to Supplemental Health Care policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality metrics Support a mission-driven, inclusive culture and mentor newer nurses when needed Participate in ongoing oncology and professional development opportunities Required Skills Oncology nursing Chemotherapy and biotherapy administration Central line care and maintenance Symptom and side-effect management Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Patient and family education Oncologic emergency recognition and response Care coordination and discharge planning Infection prevention and safety protocols Interdisciplinary team collaboration
